Overview: The event is a week-long schedule of individual events which includes a Nordic race, the Ullr Bonfire and the famous and probably the craziest Ullr Fest Parade which travels down the main street of Breckenridge, Colorado. This fantastic party all stated back in 1963 when a few local's that they heard that Ullr was in town.

According to a Norse myth, Ullr (pronounced Oool-er) was the god of winter. The son of Sif and the stepson of Thor, the "God of Thunder." Ullr loved the cold and delighted in traveling over the country on his skis or skates.
