Overview

Just because the snow's gone doesn't mean the fun stops! All visitors should take the opportunity to experience a Copper Mountain summer. The unique mountain terrain and activities make summer holidays to the resort a memory-filled adventure.

Mountain Biking

Take a ride up the American Eagle with your mountain bike being hauled on the back of the chair. Mountain biking at Copper focuses on the downhill, making for some exciting rides down the ski mountain.

Traditional single-track is available as well, as is the Diggler, an off-road scooter built for downhill fun.

Scenic Lift Rides

Head up to Solitude BBQ at the top of the American Eagle Chairlift. Take in the fantastic views over some lunch, then head down in the comfort of the high-speed lift.

Golf

Copper Mountain has the highest championship course in America, which means that balls fly farther than normal in the thin air. This Pete and Perry Dye course will take golfers through vistas of the forests of Ten Mile Range while challenging their game.

Hiking

The mountain is in full bloom during summer.  Spring flowers are stunning in their mountain scenery, so pack a camera with the water and snacks. Consider starting your hike at the top of the American Eagle at 11,375 feet for easy access to high alpine views.

Even if you didn't come fully prepared, Copper Mountain Guest Services will lend out poles and child-carrying backpacks for those looking to get out for some hiking.

Horseback Riding

Saddle up a horse and head out into the many trails surrounding Copper Mountain. Riding a horse is a unique experience for anyone who hasn't tried it, and a great opportunity to have fun with the entire family. Rides are available in different lengths: one hour, two hour, half-day or more!

Paddle Boating

West Lake in the Village at Copper is always a fun spot. Take a break from the shopping for a paddle boat ride in the afternoon. Paddling the boat around the lake will bring back some great memories, and make some new ones as well!

Go-Karts

The only go-kart track in the county is waiting for you to take a spin around its family-friendly track, located in the Chapel Lot.

Mini Golf

Everyone enjoys hitting a ball around the green carpet, so take some time on vacation to try your skill against the various obstacles of the course.

Bungee Jump

Certainly not for the faint of heart, this bungee jump has four bands, keeping the jumper safely in the center of the pad as they jump up and down, trying flips and twists.

Spa

After all the activity, a little relaxation can be a great end to a holiday. Enjoy the professional massages, saunas, spas, steam rooms, facials and more.
